Combining the heavy prog riffing of Inmazes and the dream pop melodies of Applause, all played through a lush, atmospheric production, VOLA's Witness is an unexpected but welcomed comeback that will surely please longtime fans and hopefully gain them new ones. It's heavy, ridiculously catchy, well varied, and one of the most engaging albums released in the past few years.
