  1. ITLP04 - Compro
    by Skee Mask
    Flyby VFR Flyby VFR
I didn't realise breakbeats and ambient techno could go so well together, but Skee Mask achieves awesome stuff on this record.
  2. Animated Violence Mild
    by Blanck Mass
House vs. House House vs. House
It's quite difficult to discern what genres he covers, his sound evokes industrial/coarse/grandiose/powerful/sincere house anthems. Nonetheless, this album is truly something special and meant a lot for me since it came out.
  3. World Eater
    by Blanck Mass
Minnesota / Eas Fors / Naked Minnesota / Eas Fors / Naked
I don't have much to say other than it's a fantastic listen if you are a fan of industrial, noisy house/techno.

    Suskind Suskind
Dub techno will always a special place in my heart. This work is excellent.
  6. How It Ends
    by TOLEDO
What Happened to the Menorah? What Happened to the Menorah?
In this one they continue to explore their excellent songwriting with ear candy enriched instrumentals that sometimes tread into post-rock territory. Reminds me of Totorro. Fantastic work.
  7. Jockeys Of Love
    by TOLEDO
    Sunday Funday Sunday Funday
As soon as I heard Sunday Funday from a recommendation, I got immediately hooked into TOLEDO. Love the melodies, drums and guitars. It definitely borrows sounds that's been done before, yet it feels so unique and familiar at the same time.
  8. Joy Techniques
    by Nate Mercereau
There You Are There You Are
Holy hell. I was swept in by the sheer force of There You Are that when it came up on autoplay from another song, I had to listen to the entire album, and I was not disappointed. Now I'm into Jazz Rock goddammit!
  9. Espera
    by Helios
    Well Within Well Within
Oh my god is this Helios best work yet? I don't know but it surely just might be. I don't know where to start, the melodies and ambience are so blissfull, and whenever the percussion comes in it slaps! Everything just sounds like a warm blanket.

Really hard to set a favorite out of all of them. Well done Helios.
  10. Dust And Disquiet
    by Caspian
Sad Heart of Mine Sad Heart of Mine
This album ranges from tender to oumph, doing so in a fashion that makes me think I'm out soaring in the praires or facing the unknown.

    This is peak Caspian.

Probably their best work as of yet IMHO.
  11. SPIRALS
    by Nick Leng
    Candles Candles
When I first saw this album in my feed I entered with expectations and they were met immediately. Selecting a favorite from this album is extremely difficult. Each one is fantastic and mesmerizing on their own.

Eve White, Eve Black, Jane Eve White, Eve Black, Jane
Each single one of these tracks is a banger after the other, very challenging to set one aside as a favorite. One of the most holistic and solid pieces I've ever listened to, and that's really impressive.

Tense and cinematic buildups, crazy hooks and smashing drums. Love the synthesizer and that bass!
  14. You Are The Conductor
    by Caspian
    Further In Further In
Like Tertia it has its moments. Interestingly it feels like that the album bears elements that weren’t explored much in other albums, certain sound designs stood out to me.
  15. Tertia
    by Caspian
    Malacoda Malacoda
Good album with shining moments in each song, hinting at the grand and captivating style which Caspian eventually embraced.
  16. Home Alone
    by Totorro
    Eric Colson Eric Colson
This work embodies twists and turns with each song. Great buildups, great cut off points, atmospheric, heavy as well as bright all throughout. After many listens this album encapsulates math-rock/post-punk/post-rock exceptionally well.
  17. A Plant Fell from the Window
    by Nick Leng
Beautiful, jumpy and catchy. I love Nick's music and I love birds so I couldn't miss this one.
  18. Epitaph
    by GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT
Hauntingly beautiful, striking and sometimes heavy with the lush and very palatable atmosphere.

I wish some sections were longer, but since they aren't, they always make me come back. GIAA strikes this balance really well. Their best work yet.
