it's difficult to say why anyone likes any particular piece of music. For me, it has a nice melodic flow to it. I love Mark's delivery and Melissa haunting voice. there's so many notable favorite songs off of it but I think the one I keep coming back to is catwalk. It has the best hypnotic transcendental, dreamy collection of ideas, imagination and songwriting lyrics with a danceable Groove. I was a patron of Ross theater in evansville as i discovered stop the car late 1986, early 87. the collection of people that hung out at the Ross was a unique crowd to say the least. one of the sweetest experiences in my life was to be a part of that whole scene, even though it be brief, it was PRICELESS. This music completely takes me back to that time and space! it captures the magic that oftentimes eludes bands as they evolve. I have had a copy of this music in some form or other for the past 30 years. this recording has a way of taking me on a mental Journey. far beyond this world that I live in. for me personally, in my opinion, I find this particular recording to be my most FAVORITE of all of the other "stop the car" pieces of work. much appreciated, for all the good times,
