At the same time Iron Maiden, Angelwitch and Girlschool were touring in the Summer Of 1979, Hollywood Wires began their UK and European tour. Their opening gig was a double bill with Girlschool at the Greyhound, Fulham, London. The same night in London, 6th August, Angelwitch and Iron Maiden played together at the Music Machine, Camden, London.
