  1. Liebe
    by Rue Oberkampf
Carefully crafted electronic gems which on most songs keep an elegant balance between (technoid) rhythms and melodic sounds/singing. Some upbeat tracks complete the journey which lasts way too short with only 8 tracks and 35 minutes

Last Ninja (Wastelands) Last Ninja (Wastelands)
The Last Ninja songs are absolutely masterpieces which again threw me back 35 years or so. Chris Hülsbeck stuff also appreciated but sadly for Gianna sisters a rather weak song was chosen. However this album gives a nice overview of SID and artists capabilities alike. (hoping for a SID sequel...)

I love this album since 30years but do not dare to spin the vinyl anymore... Great mixture of history of the gododdin and this tribal like percussions paired with lots of emotionally loaded singing.

Late Night Solitude Late Night Solitude
Lycia have given up their trademark sound of heavily distorted guitars, which is a pity. instead they focus on mostly melancholic acoustic guitar pop songs with (up beat!) rhythm machines, Kling Klang Piano sound and other sonic experiments which are supposed to create an ethereal atmosphere but are often bleak and repetitive and mostly not dark at all.
Thus disappointing except for tracks like Rewrite, Mist and
