    The Parting The Parting
I have never heard anything that so inimitably captures the beauty of Tolkien's work. The Silmarillion evokes poignant longing for lost tales and times in the reader, and this music redoubles those feelings. The barren plains of Nevrast, the empty towers of Vinyamar, and the wide expanses of Beleriand are perfectly reconstructed in sound here, which makes their true unattainability all the more emotionally potent. If the Music of the Ainur was effable, I'd imagine it'd sound something like this.
