Lavish, mythical beauty is everywhere in this album.

The elegance and whimsical delicacy seen here is singular to say the least, as simplicity and frailty form a collection of endearing and charming melodies, enveloped in a mist of fuzz for losing oneself in.

Here we find BH at its most understated, and yet this stands as one of their moodiest LPs. Their brilliance glimmered from the start, bearing the promise of their le-grander later releases.

The soft vocals and pensive lyrics are a nice throwback to their earlier material, but the sound is on another level of craft.
I'm particularly fond of how the track starts off low key and then takes off in such a way that is almost too good to be true. You can hear it as it soars in the distance. No doubt, one of the best tracks to grace my ears this year (or any year).

Gorgeous through and through, a true opus in reverence to the magic of stories, the affecting power of music and a clear cut showcase of an artist at the top of her craft. Natalie's mesmerizing vocal performance complements the depth of her lyrics to great effect, conjuring up waves of nostalgic bliss and heartfelt belief in hope unknown. Much like a quaint time contraption, these transporting songs take you back to look at the present as if in retrospect, it's a reflection on how life is purposefully ephemeral. Suffice it to say that this elegiac callback to shipwrecked lost things could not have been better realized.
