This EP is quite the departure from the RL catalog as it takes on a melancholy Indie Pop approach while remaining completely refreshing. This is a very bold and mature move by the Lizard man and I'm excited where this trail is leading!
Love that old sci-fi/spaghetti-western whistling in the second refrain! One of Road Lizard's first releases and from my first hearing felt it was "the" Road Lizard theme song!
Road Lizard's first EP came out with a solid effort. Like I read in a November 2017 Acid Ted blog on this EP, Man in the Moon is "a life-affirming burst of sound!" A great journey!
I like this entire EP which I consider Road Lizard's robot tribute. "Salt Water" has a yearning sound that makes me imagine a robot lamenting over not being able to cry. Great piece of work!
I have been digging Road Lizard from the early tunes "Offworld" and "Eat That" to these hot new tracks! Never been disappointed. Can't wait for the debut album coming out!
