What’s the status of my order?

When you purchase merchandise through an artist’s Bandcamp page it is manufactured and shipped by that artist, not Bandcamp. If you’d like an update on the status of your order, you’ll need to be in touch with the artist directly by clicking the “Contact” link on the right-hand side of their music page (or in your Bandcamp receipt).

I haven’t received my physical order.

  1.

First, check to make sure you’ve waited long enough for the package to arrive. Head over to the item’s page and look for the “ships out in [x] days” part of the description. This is the number of days it may take for the item to leave the fulfillment house (or the artist’s basement). If it’s still within that timeframe, sit tight, your order will begin its journey soon.

You’ll also need to give the package sufficient time to travel from its place of origin to you. You’ll find the artist’s location in the bio on their music page. Please keep in mind:

    • Domestic packages may take 2 weeks to arrive.
    • International packages may take 4-6 weeks (customs office processing can be slow).

  2. Next, if your package should have arrived by now, contact the artist for an update.

You can send the artist a message by clicking the “Contact” link on the right-hand side of their music page or in your Bandcamp receipt.

  3. Finally, if you’ve contacted the artist but haven’t received a response, open a dispute through PayPal.

PayPal’s Buyer Protection Period covers your purchase up to 180 days from the date of the sale. Opening a dispute will alert PayPal to the missing order, and ensure that you either receive your package or receive a refund. To open a dispute:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account.
    2. Click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Centre near the bottom of the page.
    3. Click Dispute a Transaction.
    4. Change the dates to find the transaction you want to dispute.
    5. Select the transaction, click Continue, and then follow the instructions.

I need to update my shipping address.

Please email the artist directly by clicking the “Contact” link on the right-hand side of their music page (or using the link in your Bandcamp receipt). Don’t forget to mention your name, the item you purchased, and if possible, the transaction ID (you’ll find that at the bottom of your Bandcamp receipt).

I’d like to change my order.

If you need to change anything about your order you’ll need to contact the artist directly. You’ll find a “Contact” link on the right-hand side of their music page and in your Bandcamp receipt. Please keep in mind that it may not be possible to change your order after it has been placed.

The item I received is damaged or incorrect.

You’ll need to be in touch with the artist directly to work out an exchange or request a refund. To do so click the “Contact” link on the right-hand side of their music page or in your Bandcamp receipt. In the unlikely event you don’t hear back from the seller, consider opening a dispute over that payment through PayPal.
