A lovely, somewhat unexpected direction for Ulla. foam is as cut up as Stumbling Towards A Wall but brings its elements into the sunshine with bright contrast. This is full of jazz guitar tones and voices without the blur and (occasionally) dread that has been found in other LPs. Yet it feels that there is nothing lost.
I have a feeling this may very well become my favorite from Ulla with repeated listens. For now, I can confidently say this album is gorgeous and essential for me.
