I've loved Eric Taxxon for a long time now and rarely have I seen him take a step wrong. Most of his work is straight up good, with some leaning towards great. I think this album is his first legitimately great album and I can see myself listening to it a whole lot this year and beyond.
I love this direction. Hugely recommended.

Not enough artists in recent years have a style like this that embraces all the best aspects of psychobilly (or anything rock-related at all lately), and even fewer perfect it like here.
Add the very present but not overdone use of vocal effects used to perfect effect, and the "swamp-y" feeling to the music (exemplified perfectly by the cover art) and you have easily one of my favorite albums from all of 2019.
I bought it a year ago so I can't see the price but I promise it's well worth it!
