Easy On Your Own? Easy On Your Own?
Alvvays took everything great about Antisocialites and then cranked it all up to 11. Heavier shoegaze, janglier guitars, higher soaring vocals, ripping guitar solos, it's all there. The wait was worth it.

    In Undertow In Undertow
Clever, dreamy, wistful, this album has it all. The songs are brilliantly crafted and very distinguishable from each other, while still maintaining cohesiveness. They strike a good balance between more poppy, catchy songs, and those with emphasis on atmosphere.

Next of Kin Next of Kin
It's hard to pick a favorite off this one, but Next of Kin stands out to me the most. That being said, the anthemic Archie, Marry Me is a close second. This album borderline feels like a greatest hits already. The first half is especially consistent.
  4. How To Leave Town

Hey, Space Cadet (Beast Monster Thing In Space) Hey, Space Cadet (Beast Monster Thing In Space)
My favorite CSH album, and it's not even "technically" an album, according to Will. It's about time I bought this given how many times I've listened to it, after downloading it for free years ago. Every song here kills, I never tire of them.

  10. When The Wind Forgets Your Name
    by Built To Spill
Comes a Day Comes a Day
Another great work from Built to Spill, Doug and his rotating band continue to craft incredibly enjoyable tunes. The closing track is a personal favorite, specifically the extended outro that starts around the 5:10 mark. That outro is one of my favorite pieces of BtS music, ever.
  11. Lucifer On The Sofa

    Wild Wild
Spoon continue to release great albums into another decade. Wild is possibly a top-ten Spoon song for me, so good.

yellow is the color of her eyes yellow is the color of her eyes
A great stab at taking sounds of past alternative music (primarily from the 90s) and giving it a more updated sheen. Love it.
  16. When You Land Here, It's Time to Return (2014 Remix/Remaster)
    by Flake Music
    Deluca Deluca
Fantastic album with a lot of great songs. Spanway Hits, Structo, Deluca, The Shins and Vantage are my personal favorites. Really captures where the alt-rock scene was in 1997, I think.

Great indie rock album that slides between upbeat, chill, and weird seamlessly. A lot of fun to listen to.
