Many years ago I read a review of a Melvins album in which the writer mentioned it's cool for a band to experiment, but that the Melvins' experimental results weren't really...any GOOD. Synth-forward Krallice seems like a good idea, and I dug Mass Cathexis' employment of synths, but Psychagogue and now this one ain't doing it for me. Krallice always has my allegiance (same with Melvins) but "the Midas Touch" it ain't.
