  1. Insignificance
    by Jim O'Rourke
Some of the most beautiful music combined with some of the most miserable and morbid lyrics about love

    Fools. Fools.
I wish I had more money to give to this album, my favorite CLK album due to its slightly heartwarming mood at times and it's layered instrumentation that crosses every possible emotion. God bless

COLD IN HERE COLD IN HERE
Whenever I heard heardboard, I discovered LUM was scratching an itch for a type of music that I didn't even know I needed. With an entire album of this sampley atmospheric pop(?) stuff that back-stratch turns into a full massage. A playful, addictive, melancholic massage.

  10. Pello Phantasmo's Book Of Brew
    by Mr. Yote
    Bloodstone Bloodstone
Taking good aspects from all his previous works, Book of Brew is yotes best work yet. Not only does it envelop you through it's world-building but it's absolutely addictive and intriguing.
  11. Tangram
    by Material Girl
    Platypus Platypus
Tangram is something really special, and I’m glad it’s been pieced together in one form. 7 carefully woven together progressive plunderphonic tracks which transverse many emotions, moods, and genres. One second you will be traversing the lonely Burial-esque house-music-ish urban world like the beginning of No Runner or a blissful and astonishing opening like in Swoon only to have the entire thing rearrange itself into a completely different beautiful monster halfway through the track.
  12. The Sickening Shrieks From Genloch Heap
    by Mr. Yote
    Bogwild Bogwild
don’t know what it is with Mr. Yote, but both his rapping and production style are absolutely addictive and intoxicating. The Sickening Shrieks From Genloch Heap excels at both of those skills, as this is the peak of Yote’s otherworldly production/songwriting and sickeningly addictive slurring raps.

  16. SEERSHIP!
    by E L U C I D
A cold and depressing world that sounds like what would happen if the beats from Every Egg I Cracked Today had a mental breakdown. Outstanding stuff
  17. A Laughing Death in Meatspace
    by TFS
    Rubber Bullies Rubber Bullies
Dirty and downright disgusting, Tropical Fuck Storm's debut is the perfect album for the upcoming apocalypse and the utter hell we are living in and will be living in the next couple years before the earth burns away
  18. Ponyoak 20th Anniversary Edition
    by Kleenex Girl Wonder
I Cut Myself in Half I Cut Myself in Half
Like almost every Kleenex Girl Wonder album, ponyoak is an absolute classic that deserves more respect.
