Whenever I heard heardboard, I discovered LUM was scratching an itch for a type of music that I didn't even know I needed. With an entire album of this sampley atmospheric pop(?) stuff that back-stratch turns into a full massage. A playful, addictive, melancholic massage.

Taking good aspects from all his previous works, Book of Brew is yotes best work yet. Not only does it envelop you through it's world-building but it's absolutely addictive and intriguing.

Tangram is something really special, and I’m glad it’s been pieced together in one form. 7 carefully woven together progressive plunderphonic tracks which transverse many emotions, moods, and genres. One second you will be traversing the lonely Burial-esque house-music-ish urban world like the beginning of No Runner or a blissful and astonishing opening like in Swoon only to have the entire thing rearrange itself into a completely different beautiful monster halfway through the track.

don’t know what it is with Mr. Yote, but both his rapping and production style are absolutely addictive and intoxicating.The Sickening Shrieks From Genloch Heap excels at both of those skills, as this is the peak of Yote’s otherworldly production/songwriting and sickeningly addictive slurring raps.
