I stumbled across this band recently. Listened to a song and thought it sure sounds a bit like mgla. Which is cool. Then I see it's the same guy behind Kanonenfieber and am even more interested. I'll have to go through the rest of their discography, because I liked what I heard on this album.

Stumbled across this band the day this album came out, and decided to give it a listen. While I enjoyed it on that first listen, it didn't immediately stick, but I kept coming back to it periodically over the following months. It's now one of my favorite albums of the year. It's a bit reminiscent of Insomnium or Be'lakor with a bit more progressive or doom vibes, which I'm surprised it didn't immediately click with me.

I'm not really a synth fan, or rather I enjoy it when it appears in movies, shows, or video games, but it's never something I seek out to listen independently from the other medium. That being said, as a fan of Vvilderness, I decided to give this side project a listen. I was immediately hooked. I loved the mix of synth with all of the analog instrumentation mixed with the occasional metal riffs and sounds. I also love the album art, as per usual from vvildr.

It's funny, I stumbled across this band while browsing Adam Burke's paintings on his website, because he's done the art for a number of other bands I like. Decided to check them out and was immediately hooked. This album is sick. I don't need any "algorithm" to discover cool music to my tastes. I can just look at Adam Burke's gallery and find new bands from the album art commissions.

Oh and I guess if you like some really cool progressive black/death metal, this is it.
