More synthy, expansive and 'Canadian' than the previous release, but every bit as evocative.

I'll be listening to this for years to come.

I know something is good when I stop analysing it and become swept away by the emotion. Even as I sat down to write this I found myself carried to somewhere distant by this truly beautiful music.

I can't even remember how I found Orbitalpatterns but I'm truly grateful to whichever algorithm or suggestion brought this music into my life.

After 20+ years of making electronic music, finding the Deluge was a game changer for me. I'm proud to have my track 'Brain Scraps' included in this diverse showcase of the machine and the community emerging around it.

Humbly, I invite you to search 'Alder Dice' on Bandcamp. All my music is conjured up with my Deluge.

    Peace and love, Joe.

It's The Advisory Circle but less ghostly and more synthy and it's absolutely mint.

Lovely warm loopy music by a lovely warm loopy man. Music to stay in bed to then get the kettle on for the last few tracks.

Listening to this album got my head out of some pretty dark places and held my hand towards a blissful sleep. I love how it was made, but the music transcends that completely. I'm truly grateful for the existence of this album. And it's by the bloke who does those ace paintings!

Got this when it came out and played it constantly. A little less dubby than the previous album, but much bigger and more confident sounding. ELWD is head and shoulders above the crowd of 'lo-fit beats to relax and study to' and needs to be heard by more people.

Fishnets and a Nine Fishnets and a Nine
Christ alive, this is good! Love how many of the tracks settle you in to some repetitive analogue chug before ambushing you with a jazzy lead gesture. Very clever. Buy it.
