Pure bliss. Habibi Funk label releases are always reliably excellent, but this is high-tier even by their standards. Difficult choice between Matar Al Sabah and Lahnon Lemra'ati Wa Beladi for my favorite song here.
The only reason there's only half a dozen other purchasers on this album is because of how recently this absolutely ancient album was added to BC. It's amazing. Prefuse 73 teaming up with one of the most interesting bands of the 2000s was never gonna be anything but.
Holy fuck I wish there was more heavily Indian-inspired electronic music like this being made and played live on American dancefloors. Been listening to this EP so much since it released.
