GOOD WEIRD FEAT. DEL FLORIDA GOOD WEIRD FEAT. DEL FLORIDA
For me this somehow has the optimistic DIY goodvibes and ooomph of Prince’s Lovesexy, only it’s fermented like some mighty funky kombucha, and adorned with many more colours and textures. Love the punchy way Good Weird opens- the dripping silences in the track- and the album keeps its creative fire and surprises going. Nice!
  9. Pivotal Arc
    by Quinsin Nachoff
Evidently, Quinsin Nachoff is a filmmaker of sorts. The first work especially feels like the soundtrack of a dense, passionate and action-filled motion picture vividly unfolding within the minds’s eye. It’s definitely the most visual and virtuosic recording in my collection.
  10. Dream World EP
    by Conrad
    Faerie Fire Faerie Fire
This is smile-inducing music storytelling with a nice mix of joyful, tense and hopeful emotions. I find it meditative and relaxing to listen to. Since it was created using an unusual and highly portable electronic performance instrument called a Pocket Operator I also find it a nice mental exercise to reverse engineer its creation while listening. I happen to own the same model instrument - the PO-20 arcade. Thank you for this lovely album with playful textures, melodies and rhythms. Bravo!
  11. Honeyboy
    by Fat As Fuck
I hope the track 1/E was intended as a partial homage to Living Color’s very jazzy metal tune “Cult of Personality”. If not, well check it out guys bc someone in the band must have been a fan.

This band is great live. Studio recordings are incredible too. I have FAF’s self titled CD in my car and it never leaves the.deck. The 7-track FAF album is like orange juice- gotta have it every day.
This little EP goes further and gains even more personality. No pun intended. lol.
    Rrrroooooccccckkkkk onnnnn. You awesome musicos!

This is the future of upbeat popular music. These “Fuckers” are ahead of their time!!!
  12. DS13
    by Bloma
This is just really cool. I like all the different places Bloma goes to and the unconventional environment he composed in.
  13. Laughing In The Face Of Death
    by The Carburetors
Don´t Touch The Flame Don´t Touch The Flame
It’s just earnest rock and roll. Like Chuck Berry, Social Distortion, Motley Crüe and Motörhead all mixed together.

Discovered the band via their Getaway KISS cover!

    Rock on!
