Rhythm Section releases are always buy-on-sight for me. Never a foot wrong! Prequel’s fist release (Polite Strangers) was lush, and then release two (Freedom Jazz Dance) set out the stall! This release takes me back to Palm Skin Productions on Mo Wax, or Moodyman on Peacefrog - a respectful nod to a sound, and a confident addition to the canon. This is a beautiful record. Just beautiful 👏
