On Interrupt considerably stepped up their game since Cosmic Drift! The themes from the first two tracks fit perfectly into the massive soundscapes that pay tribute to the artist's debut album, and adds a new level of tension. Still, On Interrupt manages to keep their slow, dense, harmony-driven atmospheric sound as the main aspect and strongpoint. I'm in dire need of a genre descriptor for this music, since all I can come up with is "Space-Odyssey-Esque". :D
