I'm still trying to process the effet this album is making on me. It drives deep between the ears and the pineal gland, with waves of raucousity, and
  5. MIGHT & POWER
    by Megaton Sword
    Power Power
Megaton Sword has all what you would like to hear from the genre: powerful yet also subtle riffs and rhythms, skilled musicianship, polished (sometimes weird) lyrics, good production - and a unique voice. The later is definitely Megaton's most appealing point, between Ozzy or Dickinson, even Malcolm Young.
Labeled power metal, they bloom into their own crossover of styles of epicness and emotions. Fantastic trip to a unique epical world of sound.
  6. Niralet
    by Megaton Sword
Born Beneath the Sword Born Beneath the Sword
Amazing classic album, built on crazy metal Weltanschauung of blood and gore, and with the oddest ode to beer, sustained by killer riffs and that exceptional voice.
  7. Blood Hails Steel - Steel Hails Fire
    by Megaton Sword
The Giver's Embrace The Giver's Embrace
First album ? Very hard to believe, but listen to their M&P, and you will understand understand why this is a just a "starter".
  8. Hallucinations Of A Heretic
    by Afghan Haze
    Hellijuana Hellijuana
    Cathartic doom metal.
In general, not huge fan of the genre, but they blend psycho stoner etc, so finely together.
To listen to when you need to resurrect.
  9. Violent Creed Of Vengeance

Midnight in the Mirror World Midnight in the Mirror World
On a quest for epic metal, I found Smoudler. Now back to bed.
  10. The Mad King
    by Warrior Path
His Wrath Will Fall His Wrath Will Fall
Ventured here from Sacred Outcry and just experienced another quality metalgasm. Never though the land of Zeus had such treasures of metal grandeur.
A bit of variation in the musical patterns would have made it a true masterpiece.
  11. Towers of Gold
    by Sacred Outcry
The Voyage (Towards Immortality) The Voyage (Towards Immortality)
All these superlative reviews are correct. While it is my primary metal genre, I immediately felt in love.
Everything fits and flows so well together - a powerful musical RPG - leading you into a journey like only metal can.
  12. Holocene
    by The Ocean
    Subboreal Subboreal
This album made me discover The Ocean, a deep band that's definitely worth exploring. Mabye I wouldn't have been hooked as much by listening to their former albums despite they sound like mastepieces too. Here, some electro, prog rock and screaming metal etc. create a truly unique and hypnotizing atmosphere.

For when I need pain and screams, but masterly executed.
  15. Dead Star
    by King Buffalo
    Red Star Pt. 1 & 2 Red Star Pt. 1 & 2
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space.
  16. Paleolithic War Crimes
    by Saint Karloff
I had several SK's albums on the wishlist when this one came out... Let's start by that one, might as well be my favorite.

    Ballena Volcánica Ballena Volcánica
Cover caught my eyes, then the content pleased my ears avid of stoning desert cruise.
Very solid debut EP, classical and well-tuned vocals, guitars. For pure enjoyment.
  19. III
    by ASTEROID
    Mr. Strange Mr. Strange
the only negative thing there is the shortness of the album. Each song has it's special something that makes you hum or groove along, and listening to the whole stuff is an uttermost feel of lavish well-being - true craftsmanship.
  20. Asteroid - II
    by ASTEROID
    Fire Fire
After so many replays on YouTube, it was really about time to enjoy this album with FLAC. And, that's opening a new dimension to my ears.
Never growing tired of Asteroid's rythme lines, scare but well though vocals joining the 70's type blues fuzz.
