This record is a great piece to lose yourself in. It has a vibe that isn't entirely unlike Matson Jones; it's more subdued, dreamier. Its mood seems to live somewhere near sunset on an overcast fall day. Dark, haunting, smart, and very pretty.
Also, I have to say, the way this record is packaged is incredibly unique. It was a wonderful surprise to open something so different today.
