This tape has the best beats I've heard for a long while. Sampling is downright gorgeous, cleverly narrating in the background or complimenting the beats in the loops. I've been following Form & Shape since I first heard My Heart, Resolute! and I could not be happier with the direction they've been moving. The overall album makes me feel like I've landed in an airport and heading over to another terminal to make a connecting flight. As tired as I am, I push on—my feet lazily stomping the ground in a sporadic but rhythmic way, looping over and over. The samples remind me of hearing languages and dialects I've never heard before, making the place seem foreign. The announcements over the intercom pushes it's way past all other noise, interrupting the chatter. The little shops lining the hallways beg for my attention, but I am way to sleepy to acknowledge that they even exist, other than the occasional glance at a neon lit sign posted on the outside of an overpriced in-airport bar. All of this noise bounces off the hard marble floors and glass panels, feeding me the noise again.
