  3. I'm In Your Mind Fuzz
by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
I'm Not In Your Mind I'm Not In Your Mind
The album's title is a description of how it buries itself into your subconscious so deeply that you find yourself humming the melody to 'Cellophane' completely out of the blue. It's a conspiracy. King Gizzard is here to infect your mind with groovy psychedelic tunes. It's in my mind to stay.
  4. Nonagon Infinity
by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
    People-Vultures People-Vultures
A landmark in modern rock music. The music is exciting, trippy and bombastic and will keep you coming back for more - that is if you haven't taken the album off its endless loop!

Beyond The Bells Beyond The Bells
Many bands try (and fail) to capture the sound of classic 80s heavy metal, but few manage to nail it as well as Satan's Hallow. Straight from the Judas Priest / Angel Witch school of heavy metal, the music is anthemic, punchy and loaded with great leads that aren't overdone. Bonus points for the clear, but beefy production. Get it now!

The Means to Preserve The Means to Preserve
Take Opeth, Moonsorrow and Insomnium together, and you probably have an idea of what this album sounds like. Not even that truly describes the compositional masterpiece that is 'Sleep at the Edge of the Earth', however, as it takes you through a myriad of mystical moods and melodies that not many bands are able to achieve. Highly recommended.
  13. Sacred
    by The Obsessed
    Sacred Sacred
'Sacred' is nothing less than some of Wino's finest work yet. Packed to the brim with memorable riffs, bluesy leads and Wino's signature vocals, any fan of The Obsessed (or any doom metal / hard rock fans) will thoroughly enjoy this album.

    Receipt Receipt
Abysmal sees The Black Dahlia Murder with another set of brutal and unforgettable songs, with the added touch of musical maturity that has been the case since Ritual. The one-two punch of 'Receipt' and 'Vlad, Son of the Dragon' sucks you in like a vortex and doesn't let go until the end of the album. Highly recommended.

Review Your Choices (Disc 1) Review Your Choices (Disc 1)
The reissue of the classic 'First Daze Here' is a much needed release, with most of the tracks now staying true to their original forms. without many the overdubs and additions featured on the original issue of the album. Special mention to the tracks 'Lazy Lady', 'Starlady' and 'Be Forewarned', all of which sound a lot more organic without the overdubs. A much appreciated release.
