Brilliant, teeth-grindingly angular noiserock from, where else?, Chicago. The guitar sounds like it’s falling apart while it’s being played — jarring bit-crushed-beyond-belief sounds remind me of a hard drive on the verge of failure. The drill-press solid rhythm section gets down to job of propulsively driving each song straight down your throat. The vocals walk the line between a bad day and an existential crisis. A much-needed and fresh take on noiserock.
