After I met the love of my life, I realized: life ends. Someday, I'll lose her, or she me. Divers helped me come to terms with that. It still does. I find new depth in it every time I return (and repeat).
Paris is, by the legend, named "Par-Ys" - an equal of Ys. There's a Breton saying: Pa vo beuzet Paris, Ec'h adsavo Ker Is. "When Paris is engulfed, Ys will re-emerge." Until then, we have Ys.
"What We Have Known" is an under-the-radar transition between the early, Milk Eyed Mender JN and the later, Ys-and-beyond JN. We're lucky to have this one!
