One of the best original soundtracks for any indie game, Toby's masterwork captures the essence of classic chiptune game music while freely stepping outside its limitations and conventions to great effect. His use of leitmotif is both confident and subtle, and it meshes with the game's story to an effect probably surpassed only by Nobuo's work in Final Fantasy VI.
