Beautiful Blues song that is haunting and personal, especially if you know the circumstances and time period when it was written. The first time I listened to it, it seemed very dark (not unusual for the Blues), but after a couple of more times I realized that it’s really a love song, just as much as the upbeat “Buckle Up, Baby” and the introspective “40 Day Crawl”. I recommend it to anyone who loves life and their partner, but has had to face a devastating medical prognosis.
