Fantastic track. Reminds me a lot of what Ancient Rites could have sounded like with modern technology. So the Vikings left another mark in indigenous America! I hope the rest will follow soon. Hails to the Spirit

This band has influenced me musically like very few others (Maiden, Covenant, Old Man's Child) and listening to (most of) this album puts the smile back into my face. There's quite a bit of variation happening here, some of which I greatly enjoyed listening to. For anyone who loved the albums leading KoK to success, this is definitely a must. Wanja Gröger on drums was definitely the best upgrade.

I found this through Ignea. Restlessly scouring through all Ignea videos on YouTube, I finally brought myself to watch Mermaids, since I was convinced this was going to be some sub par chick Metal. So far, so stupid, I got pummeled by angry ladyfolk like never before. Moving on to Ersedu, I found another treasure trove of fragility mixed with a black abyss of all sorts of, well, what I like about all sorts of Metal. Really sick, really beautiful and artistic. Never embarrassing or wannabe.

This music is so good, it's debilitating. Since days I can't do anything without it going through my head, incessantly. Most of my favourite elements in Metal can be found in here. I had to get used to the female growls, which in general I don't like, simply because the female voice apparatus isn't made for it imo. But I'm so over that now. Together with ith Ersedu, Ignea have contributed to me being able to enjoy female fronted, more extreme Metal for the first time ever. .
