I've been listening to this album on repeat for days. It is as nostalgic as it is forward-looking and evokes a lot of emotions that run the whole gamut: from anger to elation to melancholy. I can hear so many of my favourite bands in there and while I feel it might be slightly unfair to list them for fear of limiting or preempting other listeners' experiences if I had to pick two, it would be ISIS and Soundgarden. And that is just about the biggest compliment I can give. Can't wait for more!
Hard to pick a favourite track, but good goddamn, what an album, and what a discovery for me. Really enjoying the slow burn low heavy end nature of this beast of an album. Can't go wrong if you like such vibes.
This album is a powerhouse that combines every single element I love about rock/metal/<insert any other distorted guitar-driven music genre you can think of here> into a smorgasbord of eargasms that'll keep you hooked for many repeat listens.
