    I have rarely heard this depth of complexity and interwoven musical ideas in a metal band, let alone a black metal band. As Tolkien wrote of Fairy Tale: the Artist sub-creates a world for others to inhabit. That world nourishes and inspires. I enjoy entering this world very much.

    When I heard it for the first time I wasn't aware of why it was titled "Kitchen." Something broke inside of me and I wept! Only later did I discover that the song was literally an invitation to a beloved guest to enter the dining room, rest and allow themselves to be served by Love.

    Gorguts was my first show in Cleveland and it was one of the greatest, most powerful musical experiences of my life. They performed Pleiades' Dust and music off of Colored Sands. The visceral nature of their sound consumed me and inspired me to dig deeper into the music I write. Thank you for the powerful music!
