Throne of the Anxious Throne of the Anxious
So many cool textures and moods on this album. As always, the guitar work is amazing.

    Oh Earth Oh Earth
Guitar work is top notch. This is a really fun listen that keeps the moods changing.
  3. The Zenith Rise
    by I Built The Sky
The Zenith Rise The Zenith Rise
Guitar work is mind blowing, and humbling as a fellow musician. This album is a sonic delight and pounds hard when cranked.
  4. Solitude
    by Cloudkicker
What They Do is Not Art What They Do is Not Art
Heavy and dark. You would be just fine listening to this album a few times in a row. Complex, but groovy at times. Absolutely stands out in the realm of instrumental prog rock.
  5. Imposter

INSIDE (feat. Gareth Mason) INSIDE (feat. Gareth Mason)
I was taken on a journey through the darkest parts of my soul, and I feel better now.

Where I Belong (feat. Andy Cizek) Where I Belong (feat. Andy Cizek)
I've been listening to this nonstop for the past 3 days. This album doesn't sound like a copy/paste of other artists in the genre (although it's unquestionably, perfectly djent) and doesn't assault my ears with wall of over the top noise. Somehow he was able to achieve a hard hitting, complex, rich album with top-shelf vocals, obviously god-tier drumming, and tight guitars without sounding like he was forcing it out. It just flows!

    by Scale The Summit
The Warden (John Browne, Scott Carstairs & Nathan Navarro) The Warden (John Browne, Scott Carstairs & Nathan Navarro)
This album has some juicy guitar parts, weird, seductive rhythms, lovely bass lines, and warm drums. Incredibly original and a genuinely fun listen.
  11. In Time
    by Intervals
    Mata Hari Mata Hari
Really tight and punchy. I love the fun melodies and positive sound. Guitars are ridiculously thick and drums smack hard. Did I mention it's tight and punchy?
  12. It All Starts From Pieces
    by Distant Dream
The Road To Memories The Road To Memories
I get chills listening to this album. The shimmering cleans, heavy and thick riffs, and gorgeous melodies are perfectly executed. Dynamic, mournful guitar leads that are technical without being effusive showcase some serious talent.
  13. CURVE
    by Miroist
The closing of your eye The closing of your eye
I love the complex, weird, and heavy riffs. This is a fun listen and keeps me coming back. I ordered the vinyl and can't wait til it arrives!
  14. Meridian
    by The Helix Nebula
    Time Piece Time Piece
These guys create some lush, complex, and dark soundscapes. The shredding is mind melting, but the composition keeps it exciting and captivating.
  15. Cosmogenesis
    by grumusic
    Pulsar Pulsar
Heavy, thumping rhythms and floating melodies paint dark soundscapes. The performance and composition on this album is top shelf.
  16. Enigma
    by Matt Harnett
Derealization (feat. Jakub Żytecki) Derealization (feat. Jakub Żytecki)
These riffs grind, the solos soar and shred. I love the ambience and darkness created by the arrangement of clean chords and heavy guitars.
  17. The Tragedy Of The Self
    by Concatenate
    Say Hello Say Hello
This album takes you from thick guitars and aggressive beats to mournful, beautiful melodies. Guitar layers and synths are interwoven with expertise and sophistication.
  18. Pain Free?
    by The Absent City
    Just Rain Just Rain
Delightfully weird synth layers, top notch blues guitar, warm drums, and clever chord progressions draw out intense, raw emotion. Calm but dark, this album really digs deep into the soul.
  19. What would happen if everyone were watching the stars?
    by Sinobola
    Autumn Express Autumn Express
Prepare yourselves for shimmery guitar layers, pulsing drums and bass, and thick rhythms. This album is really introspective and chill.
  20. Terrapin
    by Outrun the Sunlight
The Pace of Glaciers The Pace of Glaciers
Heavy, melodic, and memorable, this album has everything. The songwriting and performance is so good, I get taken on a journey when listening. Listen on vinyl for the best experience!
