Darker and more mature than earlier works, Super-City mixes their eminently danceable groove with Burt Bacarach, Morphine, and Pulp's "This is Hardcore" doom pop sensibilities. A beautiful elegiac take on the heartbreak that reminds us of why we fell in love so hard in the first place.
