  1. The Pact
    by Negative Plane
Even The Devil Goes into the Church Even The Devil Goes into the Church
I don’t buy a lot of music these days but after listening to this album properly, it was a must for the collection… also having thoroughly and still enjoying the previous albums, none being the same. Negative Plane have an atmosphere that cannot be so easily explained and definitely stands out.
It’s always hard to choose a favourite track when an entire album is so good, especially in this case, telling a story as a whole but ‘Even The Devil Goes into the Church’, ‘And So It Came To Pass’. ..6/6
  2. Krønike II
    by Dødskvad
    Dommedagens Lyre Dommedagens Lyre
Brutal and atmospheric Death Metal, guttural chanting emphasise the Dark atmosphere… a great continuation on the the first demo/ep.
  3. Krønike I
    by Dødskvad
Pakt Med Dypet Pakt Med Dypet
Atmospheric Death Metal with an old flare.
Great demo/ep… look forward to a full length album, should be interesting and great.
  4. Psychic Secretions
    by Stargazer
Evil Olde Sol Evil Olde Sol
It was a battle between ‘Evil Olde Sol’ and ‘The Occidental Scourge’ for my favourite track, so I chose what got me head banging most ... Great blends of Metal by a great band, making an awesome album.
  5. Deep Drone Master
    by The Deathtrip
    Cocoons Cocoons
This album does not share the same atmosphere as the second album.
    The recording sounds more full.
  6. Demon Solar Totem
    by THE DEATHTRIP
Enter Spectral Realms Enter Spectral Realms
A unique album in it’s own right, with the familiar sounds of old black metal.
The cover art is very nice indeed.
  7. Infidel Art
    by Sigh
The Last Elegy The Last Elegy
Infidel Art, in my opinion, Sigh’s best album.
The album has plenty of atmosphere, combing classical music, Japanese and European with classical Black Metal.
A very solid and unique album.
1995 was a good year for Black Metal releases, I still have the original release of Infidel Art.
  8. Demonolatry - Iter Tenebricosum Ad Priscam Mortem
    by MORTEM
Unguy maman, Mother of Disease Unguy maman, Mother of Disease
Mortem is one of the best Death Metal bands, without a doubt!
It’s great to have a compilation of their demos, raw and brutal metal!
  9. Marquis Of Hell
    by Nocturnes Mist
Marquis Of Hell Marquis Of Hell
    Evil!
  10. Sovereign
    by Cirith Gorgor
Blood And Iron Blood And Iron
Thank you Hammerheart Records for giving me the chance to listen to this album.
Metal, I can much more respect an album where I may feel the passion it took to make, nothing worse than a ‘plastic’ album!
This is a solid recording Cirith Gorgor, horns up!
  11. Massive Cauldron of Chaos
    by 1349
    Cauldron Cauldron
Probably one of the bands better releases, the sound and atmosphere is different than earlier albums ... more 'true black metal'!
  12. Stained Glass Revelations
    by Negative Plane
    All Souls All Souls
Brilliant album, different to and just as good as their debut album!
  13. Intercourse and Lust
    by Abigail
    Hail Yakuza Hail Yakuza
I remember when this album was first released 18 years ago... I was hunting Japanese metal!
I have kept up with most of the bands full length albums, Intercourse and Lust, still the best! ... Hail Yakuza!
  14. Naishikyo-Sekai
    by Gonin-Ish
It was hard to pick a favourite track, the whole album is a beautiful, mystical journey into the Japanese bizarre. Musicianship is flawless, covering so many aspects of music from metal, rock, classical to traditional. Vocals varying from growing death to clear, almost typical anime soundtrack style vocals.
  15. Stained Glass Revelations
    by Negative Plane
    All Souls All Souls
Brilliant album, different to and just as good as their debut album!
