Just last week I came across a metal year in review that ranked Ontological Mysterium as the best metal album of 2023. The writer heaped tons of praise on this record. Curiosity got the best of me and I had to investigate it for myself. Though I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d be into it at all but man was I wrong. I was blown away upon first listen. I have not stopped listening to this record since discovering it last week.
