This album brought back fun dancy-rock with a British accent done well with ear-worm hooks that reminded me of the css art punk band’s records from the indie pop early oughts that got sampled by classixxx Dj’s from that fun era. I hear some of Karen-o’s fun high treble mixed with liars level bass hooks. Some of the meat-wave albums have tracks that have this spastic pop but more equally lovesick level. It was just a powerfully full honest record accomplishment. Well done. Cheers

Sea Oats played at a house show in Gainesvillle Fl that I hung out at a lot toward my final weeks there. I think it was the heck yeah house or something. ( i could be wrong) ‘In the woods’ really stuck with me and the versions on the cd-r i’ll never forget. Check out videos on youtube of the song ‘red dress’ performance at the civic media center. All are beautiful though.
