If there was any doubt in my mind that Clara is one of the greatest songwriters of their generation, this album has exploded it into fireworks. Clearly, they are at the top of their game, with a voice so clear and confident it gives me shivers, lyrics sharp and masterful, guitar played spare and full, melody haunting and new. Lady Queen Paradise is still my favorite band. Gritty heaven, indeed. I believe in paradise.
