A blatantly artifical sound, when properly framed, has the capacity for an incredible and hilarious violence against reality, in line with the type you'd see dealt out by Bugs Bunny. This album is "cartoonish" in this sense, but don't think for a moment that it's unserious or lacking depth! The action is all in the service of something real.
