Milo's lyricism really probes the limits of what hiphop lyricism can do, in terms of representing the human experience. Yet with edge and hardness of hiphop sensibility. Innovative, poetic, at points deeply moving.

So much to love in this album. Lyrics are fresh and conscious, different and unique but uncomplicated. Unlike rappers who seem to write dense and dissonant lyrics for the sake of it, Milo seems to have an organically unique ear and concept for rap lyricism, utilising stream of consciousness in a very musical and heart-felt way. The beats are contemporary but not trying to fit within any trend, and there is a beautiful continuity and cohesiveness to the whole album. Good for many many listens.
