  1. The Road To Santiago
    by Heather Dale
Up Into The Pear Tree Up Into The Pear Tree
I bought this for the minimum price and regret not paying more. I've tried to pick a favourite and realised I love so many. Heather's voice is enchanting and versatile; powerful, gentle, dark, bright, mournful, or joyful. Up Into The Pear Tree is the song I recommend the most to my friends, because it has the kind of approachable sillyness that appeals even to those who usually don't like the genre.
Fortunately, this is but one of Dale's amazing albums, so I can solve my error by buying another!
  2. The Way You Want
    by Powderpaint
"you cut off your nose, to stick it underneath my clothes."
Gah, these lyrics! The way the singers' voices blend with each other like they are one. The only way this song could've been better is if at the end, there was a big, loud "Fuck you!" to TERFs that they could not possibly miss, but ... sometimes they really do get to us, and the negative thoughts are harder to kick out than they should be, even wen we know better. This song is honest about that, and I appreciate it a lot.

  15. Dance with the Strings
by Lukasz Kapuscinski, Adrian von Ziegler
Ode to the Fallen Ode to the Fallen
Absolutely beautiful. Adrian von Ziegler is already an excellent composer, but Lukasz's versions really make the songs come to life, faithful to the original and yet very much their own thing. I really hope that these two decide to collaborate again in the future, because there are so many more songs that'd benefit from a guitar cover -- and I want an even longer version of Kingdom of Bards, too!

    Chords Chords
I do not normally cry because of music, or fiction in general. Chords made me cry. Every time I listen to it, it still feels like a warm, tight goodbye hug.
But it isn't what convinced me to buy this album, because damn, I knew I would right from the start of Secret Worlds, and knew it ever more at every song. The way the songs here can combine to tell a whole new story, and even reference others from The Horror and the Wild, is just magnificent.

    Fair Fair
I discovered this band mere weeks ago through pure chance; someone recommended Fair in a discussion about wholesome songs. And it was; love at first listen. YouTube recommended me Battle Cries next, so I gave that a listen too, and the the energy and the overlapping lyrics made me fall in love anew.
I bought this album and Ruin less than a day later. Everything TAD have made is true art, different from everything else I've heard.
