Great. Reminds me (and the rest of the world) of '93-'94, what it felt like. Like an Adrian Tomine comic (esp. "Driveway to Driveway" 😉 👍👍👍 #YEAH ), or a zine, or a show.

    I love it.

One of my favorite albums — *ever*.

This is really nice — I liked it a *lot* more than I thought I would, and I hope there's a lot more to be dug out of those *treasure TROVES*, huh ... ?? 🤔

Let's hope for more "SOLID GOLD" in the days to come ... now that we all seem to be in the "Zone" again ...

A near-perfect album, and one that makes you feel like you're 22 again in '94, when Matador Records originally released it...Having come out to Portland, OR, from Chicago, IL, to escape the odious 'Baffler,' you could say I wrote my own 'Icosadyadria' under much of *its* influence...

There's 'Spiderland' and 'Imperial f.f.r.r.,' of course—and the general public knows about 'Slanted and Enchanted' and 'Bee Thousand,' I should hope—so, why don't people know about *this* album...?? 🤔 It's GREAT—

I'm With the Pilots I'm With the Pilots
I always liked this song best—I'll take it over "Playgirl" or "He Took Her to a Movie" anyday. Still.

This album described and inaugurated the 2000s no less than Radiohead's 'Kid A' did, or P. J. Harvey's 'Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea' (dedicated to Vincent GALLO—an embracing-life, corner-turning album for her, personally, too, after the insular debuts of 'Dry' and 'Rid of Me'), Elastica's 'The Menace' and the soon-to-come music of Broadcast...Chicks on Speed also come to mind.👍

A lot of what the Cowboy JUNKIES tried to get right, particularly on 'The Trinity SESSION' and 'The CAUTION *HORSES*'...or other late-'80s, early-'90s acts like Hub Moore & the Great OUTDOORS, or, let us say, Yo La Tengo...

Nina NASTASIA'S 'Dogs' comes to mind, as does the Liquor Giants' 'Every Other Day at a TIME'—and one that, like THIS, one, I first heard of in Paul LUKAS'S 'Beer FRAME' zine...

One that has those private spaces, where—
