Having been an inspiration to me since 2003, Lemon Demon helped shape my composition and music style today. I still enjoy going back and listening to all the albums, and even the newer tracks like Eighth Wonder, my ears are very happy.
I came across The J. Arthur Keenes Band after trawling through a chiptune site out of boredom, That all changed when I played 'Computer Savvy', since then I was hooked. This album 'Mighty Social Lion' I just had to get, the songwriting is fantastic, the music is an amazing blend of The Beach Boys meets Nintendo Gameboy. Such a pleasure to listen to.
The name "Imogen Heap" was floating around during my college years but I never really took any notice until I found "Frou Frou" a few years later, produced by one of my favourite producers Guy Sigsworth. I did some hunting around and found this album "Speak For Yourself", ever since, I've regarded Imogen as a musical genius. I'm still trying so hard to do a decent cover of Headlock, but as of yet, haven't been able to do it justice, it's just so good! Imogen, help me! :O
