oh me, oh microphone oh me, oh microphone
As one can only expect, Cullen Ln. substantiates continually his reputation as a wellspring of creative ingenuity and stylistic uniqueness. This album lives up to the hype in every way and each track leaves me excited for the next. a Bed of Daisies is one of the most beautiful pieces I've heard in who knows when. I don't know how he does it, but by George he's sure done it time and time again. In this case, "the best you absolutely can" is better than I could've imagined. What a ride.
  3. American Architecture EP
    by The Alex French Revolution
Over and Over Over and Over
REALLY tough to pick a favorite, as always. The notorious Frenchman has characteristically outdone himself, yet again in his upward trajectory. The songs contained herein elicit frustration. nostalgia, and forward-peeking curiosities. It tells stories often of tragedy or lament, yet conveyed tastefully with clever language full of humor and wit. Each release has me eagerly awaiting the next, and American Architecture is no exception.
  4. The Alex French Revolution EP

    Dreaming Double Dreaming Double
The long-awaited return of the Revolutionary himself does not disappoint. I've already got this on repeat and I just can't get enough. Each album is always a cut above, and this is no exception. In just five songs, this EP manages to run the gamut of creative possibilities, from delightfully singable melodies to extended and contemplative instrumentals, as well as the many in-betweens. Truly a work of art, from which a favorite track is virtually impossible to determine...

    Underestimate Underestimate
An unapologetically unique collection of original material. Each song takes me to a totally different place, which somehow manage to feel coherent still with one another.
