    This band's local HMV did in-stores for new bands. Volka (though known by a different name at the time) was the first up. It was the best new music I think I'd heard before. A big noise and a big heart. The best thing was they played that loud and hard that the shop's neighbours complained about the noise and every following band had to play acoustic. They'd burst it for everyone else, which is kinda rock 'n' roll I think

    Saw this band at a Record Store Day event at Rare Trade in Kilwinning (a very cool shop) raretrade.co.uk where I bought the vinyl album - which lets you download from here too (which is handy even though downloads are for philistines)

    Band did a terrific acoustic set. Really enjoyed it. Heard the songs in a different way. Listen to them now - see them live too

    If I was you I'd listen to Kiera Osment immediately! That way you can say you were into her before she became globally famous. You can also moan about all the johnny-come-lateleys who are into her now which means you can never get a seat at Hampden when she's playing!
