might seem like another edgy meme filled album, but underneath that name is an album filled with dark, nihilistic emotions that asks what the point of all this is for.
this album is like a 2000s child growing up learning about the terrible, greedy, awful company and the people behind it that made their favorite memories. As they now try seperate the names associated with some of these shows, it leads to some twisted, fucked up versions of theme songs and memories. yet still despite the uglyness of it all, i still have a big stupid smile listening to this.
pure fuckin mayhem, that first time listen is jaw droppingly crazy. as an someone whos terminally online, all the samples used here truly feel like a love letter to the big world wide web.
this is neil cicierega levels of mashup absurdity, i kept laughing and crying through the whole thing. its like my kid taste in music and my current taste were put in a blender, to be mashed up into something big and genuinely cinematic. fucking amazing.
ive always enjoyed on4word's n64 recreations more than the others that have popped up due to this album. the time and dedication that it took to make this shows and is a fantastic tribute to both radiohead and the n64. this is REAL MUSIC.
