Not usually keen on gore-based lyrics, but there are some interesting stories here which manage to retain the usual gory themes without becoming hyperbolic and boring. Also, the guitar + bass work (oh that intro on Overlords of Violence) have a quality that will soon see me wading through the blood-soaked lyrics on previous releases to see what else I enjoy of theirs. My first CC album and already not my last.
