This an excellent album...potentially a transitional album for ATW. Though not as cohesive and consistent as ATW (the album) it is far more experimental. Hints of Mastodon and Tool all around and far more studio trickery than we can recall with ATW. It will take another album to synthesize the evolution but they will certainly do it because they always do it. A remarkably consistent and creative band. Greatness in the making.
