painless is not the perfect album, but there is something about it that keeps me coming back to it. maybe it's the punchiness, or the melancholy, or even a apocalyptic aesthetic. and i am eager to invest more time in this hypnotic record

less zappy than FTFT, but still raw, bombastic and beautiful. not an album i revisit often because it is too emotionally packed, but when it clicks, it feels like i have found a lost piece of myself
