I've always thought that viola da gamba was a good alternative to guitar. I like your version of the jolly bold robber, one of my favourites and I sing it too. The accompaniment works really well!

Had a chat with Iztok at café Oto after Sirom played there and he came across as a very generous and thoughtful musician. I am very much part of my own local musical tradition but I am drawn more and more towards this much more free approach to music. I have bought a violin bow to use on my dulcimer!
