I first discovered Tucker via his SOLO ACOUSTIC GUITAR IMPROVISATIONS, which I think is a masterpiece of free guitar improv. This latest release, COLD SHOULDER, is also utterly fascinating; a wonderful collage of field recordings and instruments; deep improvisation at its most intriguing. Does it make me feel uncomfortable, which is what Tucker claims to be his intention..? Well, not really, it wakes me up and keeps me interested. I like that✊️✊️✊️.

I absolutely love the way these pianists manipulate the sounds of multiple pianos in composed pieces as well as improvisations. Highly recommended stuff.
